I am looking for expressions of interest for an upholstery class for 2023.

I am not sure of the day yet but most likely Wednesday or Friday.

We will focus on respringing and webbing to begin with but we can also look at Cane Rattan work and fabric upholstery renovation.

We will start at the U3A Centre with a PP presentation of techniques and equipment and look at what participants would like to restore. Once restoration starts it may well be in my garage where I have heavy tables and specialist tools.

The sessions will be limited to 5 people from 2 to 4pm

Participants will need to provide their own basic tools ie hammer, small screw driver, small pointed plyers, nail pullers, large curved needle and heavy thread.

Participants will also need a small chair project.

Don’t forget registration is on Friday 20 January at the Memorial Hall from 10am to midday.
